CarGurus was evolving its brand toolkit and needed motion that felt cohesive across paid media, social, and short-form placements. The challenge wasn’t simply producing ads — it was translating a static design system into behavior.
I focused on defining repeatable motion principles: how typography enters and exits, how UI elements transition, how the ribbon motif carries information through space. Rather than building isolated animations, the work established a visual logic that could extend across formats and campaign variations.
Project structures were designed for iteration, allowing new versions to build from an organized foundation instead of starting from scratch. The result was a consistent, adaptable motion approach aligned with the brand’s geometry and tone.
